1. The Main Function of Dental Floss

3. Proper Technique: The method is more important than the tool itself
Whether you choose dental floss, proper technique is key:
Take approximately 40 cm of dental floss and wrap it around the middle fingers of both hands.
Use your index finger and thumb to guide and tighten a 1-2 cm section of the floss. Gently slide the floss between the teeth using a sawing motion, avoiding excessive force against the gums.
Place the floss firmly against one tooth, forming a "C" shape. Scrape it from the gumline toward the crown four to five times.
Floss firmly against the other side of the same gap and repeat the same scraping motion.
